Level 2 Attention Autism Online Coaching

This Attention Autism course was created to help you take your Attention Autism practice to the next level and is the next step in becoming an Attention Autism Advanced Practitioner.

There are entry criteria for this course, so please check this list before you sign up

To attend this course, you must have completed one of the following:

• Attention Autism Face to Face Day 1 and 2 Training with Level 1 Coaching. You will have received individual written feedback on your delivery of stages 1,2 & 3.
• Attention Autism Level 1 Online Training for professionals with individual coaching on your delivery. You will have received individual written feedback on your delivery of stages 1,2 & 3.

For the Level 2 Coaching course there will be two live, seventy five-minute online workshops and two individual feedback sessions on Zoom for each attendee with Attention Autism Co-owner and Director Lorraine Scott.

Developed especially for Attention Autism practitioners, this course will help you unlock every session’s full potential and answer any questions you have about the programme.

You will learn how to:

• Set up your session and manage group dynamics
• Use all aspects of visually supported communication confidently and fluently
• Develop every learning opportunity in stages 1, 2, 3 and 4
• Teach problem-solving within the engaging context of activities
• Develop the role of supporting adults and the team
• Manage frustrations and self-regulation challenges
• Use modelling and demonstration

How it works

All of this will be packed into 2 x online sessions where we’ll work together in a small group to ensure everyone gets the space and time they need to develop their practice.

During the course, we will ask you to send us two films of you working the programme with your children for us to discuss with you via two, thirty-minute feedback and coaching sessions. Here you will have the opportunity to work through your practice with Lyndsay Barlow or Lorraine Scott on a 1:1 basis.

How much it costs

This course costs £250 plus VAT per person and is limited to 12 places. Please note there is a £15 administrative charge to pay by invoice

When and where

• Each session is in English and will run from 9:30 – 10:45
• Session dates are:
  • 6th November 9:30am – 10:45pm UK time
  • 4th December 9:30am- 10:45pm UK time
• All 1:1 online coaching sessions will be organised with attendees on an individual basis. First film submission date is 13th November and the second film submission date is 4th December.
• The workshops are live via Zoom and therefore only available at the specified times. Please check your diaries to ensure you’re free on those days and at those times.
